Tom Warfield earned a Bachelor's degree from Capital University, and a Master's degree in
Computer Science from George Washington University.
For 12 years he worked at Claritas, the World Leader in Demographics, starting as a COBOL programmer and finishing as Manager of Data Warehousing. In 2000 he founded Warfield Consulting, specializing in Data Warehousing, Metadata, Data Conversion, and back-end web database support. Tom holds certifications in Oracle and Microsoft, and has attended data warehousing classes at Ralph Kimball University. He has been a speaker at conferences held by the International Oracle User's Group (IOUG-A), and serves as the Secretary of the Independent Computer Consultant's Association, Greater Washington chapter. Tom splits his time between southern New Jersey and Arlington, Virginia. In his spare time Tom enjoys skiing, tennis, and running. He has completed six marathons and plans to run in the Marine Corps Marathon (for the 5th time) next fall. 
Mari-Kai Dean earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from American University. She worked for 6 years as
a Project Manager and Lotus Notes programmer at Claritas.
Through her association with Marasco Newton, she has done
consulting for AMS, HUD, and EPA.
In 2006 Mari joined Warfield Consulting. She lives in Fairfax Virginia, where she also runs New Brigade, a staffing agency, and Mancho, gifts for men. |
